Macadamia Rum, my latest rum release, is an exotic twist of my previously released Spiced Rum. The recipe of Macadamia Rum includes the top quality, organically sourced Puhoi-grown Macadamia nuts.
It is well-known that Macadamia nuts are a whole food with plenty of good fats, vitamins, and minerals. They possess many health benefits. Research has shown that they can help protect the brain, lower the risk of heart disease, and stave off hunger, among other things.
Macadamia nuts enrich rum with a divine chocolatey aroma, beatify the rum colour with a deep amber glow, and add a delicious nutty palate to the aftertaste.
Macadamia Rum is designed as a sipping rum, very smooth and aromatic. The merciless cutting of ‘heads’ and ‘tails’ during the distillation process is behind this rum smoothness, and absence on any unpleasant ‘burning’ or throat-scratching effect.
The strength of Macadamia Rum is 38% ABV; contains no caramel, and no artificial colourings or additives. Solar-distilled, zero-emission, gluten-free and Vegan-friendly.
Master Distiller’s serving recommendations: I recommend serving my sipping Macadamia Rum at room temperature or “on the rocks” in a tulip-shaped glass. The cocktail lovers will also appreciate this beautiful chocolate-scented rum in the classic rum-based cocktails.
